26 Days

I just consulted the countdown Aaron has on the whiteboard and its only 26 days until we leave. Its pretty exciting, but I feel kind of overwhelmed because our house doesn’t look like it will be ready in 6 months let alone 26 days. And just how are you supposed to pack for 6 months? I have one suitcase half packed and find myself taking things out and “trading” things every day or so. Today I decided taking a heating pad is stupid, but a pack of index cards is a good idea. It will be interesting to see what finally ends up in there. I figure it will be a pack of index cards, a heating pad, and probably my wedding dress the way I’m going.

Aaron says he’s angry right now because only Dog the Bounty Hunter is on TV. Obviously I have nothing important to write about, and am avoiding some form of work.

I just thought of something exciting. Lorena and Rodrigo aren’t telling Sammy that we are coming, and her birthday is the day before we arrive. So, I will call and tell her I sent her something and she should watch for it. And then we show up. Ta-da. Lorena also says they have been looking for an apartment or house for us to rent nearby their house. Ok enough rambling, gotta get some laundry done. But just know its 602 hours 34 minutes and 21 seconds until we get to leave. Not that we’re counting.
