Showing Off

Totally exciting day on Friday, because the baby decided to kick for Aaron to feel. My dad asked if I was ever going to start calling the baby Harmon, it’s future name. I said probably not until it comes out, because people will just think I’ve named my fat belly, and am crazily talking to it. The word baby seems necessary still.

i just asked wyatt the same question the other day (i’m not prego). if we were going to call our babies their real names before they came out…and we both decided no. it just seems appropriate not to.

where have you been KE? we were wondering where you had disappeared to at church and concluded that you are probably “sick” from being pregnant and that even though aaron was having a hard time skipping church, he was sacrificing for you.

we decided you should milk it for all its worth. just come back at some point.

I know what you mean. There’s always that chance that the baby will be born and they somehow won’t look anything like the name you’ve chosen. Like what if your baby ended up being a girl? 😛

To me he’s Harmon, since I’m not lugging him around. It’s a perfect name for your belly!

Or, like Sarah said, what if the baby does not have a winkie? Maybe you would be forced to name her Penelope?!

Yes, we have also thought, what if it came out as a girl? We’d have to name it Harmony after calling it Harmon so long. This would make my mother happy, as she has expressed how much she dislikes the current name chosen, but since I have no desire to name my child Harmony, so I might be sad.
