The enormity of becoming a mother is just kicking in. Mine hit me on the way out of the hospital, while holding Michael. I had no idea what I was doing, and if anyone was losing her mind — it was me.

YOU, on the other hand, are amazingly prepared, so this moment of perhaps feeling inadequate will pass when you see the baby’s face, little fingers and toes. I predict most of your fears will fade away. You three will be an eternal family. I can’t think of anything better.
